Condolence: I extend my deepest sympathies to the Loechel family. I worked with Mark for fifteen years at Pearson. There were many reasons why Mark was admired by me and countless others. Today I specifically remember his ability to be totally engaged at work without letting it consume him. His incredible dedication to family was an inspiration to me and I will fondly remember many stories he told and moments we shared over the course of the many years we worked together.

Condolence: I am so shocked and saddened by Mark’s passing. There are so many things I still had to say to him! He is one of the main reasons I am so successful in my career! He taught me so much about working hard and mixing life with playing hard too! He and I had so much fun working together for my three years at KH and sharing an office. I look back on my mid 20s and he is such a big part of it!!! I will miss him and I will miss his face as I pictured it when I was going to tell him how he impacted me and then my children!!!

Christine, I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you and your kids. See you at Mark’s services on Thursday night.

Condolence: Christine and family,

So sorry to hear of the news of Mark's passing. A great life taken much too early. Mark gave me a chance in publishing and was my boss, my mentor and my friend. We had some wonderful times together both in our home and in yours. I will never forget the yearly volleyball pilgrimage to your home and your amazing hospitality. We did not speak as often as I would like after he left KH so I hope he knew how much he meant to us. The world is a lesser place with his passing and we wish you all the comfort of a life well lived. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time.

Condolence: To the Loechel family with my sincere condolences. May you find comfort from the promise by Christ Jesus that there is going to be a resurrection of those that have fallen asleep in death.(John 5:28,29) When Jesus was on earth he performed many miracles including the resurrection of his friend Lazarus.(John 11:11,43) Under God’s Kingdom, Christ Jesus will raise our loved ones on a global scale to live on a paradise earth. That was God’s original purpose for mankind in the first place.(Psalms 37:10,11,37). What a beautiful future, and to see Mark again!
