Margaret A.  Schofield
Margaret Ann Schofield, 85, a lifelong resident of Edgewater, MD died on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House, after a brief illness. Born on April 29, 1932, in Friendship, MD to the late Olie Trott and Linda Allen, Margaret worked in the real estate business for more than 50 years, owning her own company, South River Properties, before retiring at age 82. Margaret enjoyed spending time with Robert (Mr. Bob) vacationing and playing the slots with Bonnie. She adored her great-grandchildren. So long Grandma…Cheese and Crackers.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her long-time partner, Robert Kenney; her son, Edward Sames, Jr.; her brother, Albert Lester Trott and her sister, Mildred Sherbert. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Sames and Tricia Jamerson; her husband, Tim of Edgewater, MD; her grandchildren, Bryan Agee , Michelle (Don) Collett, Lucas, Logan, and Levin Jamerson all of Edgewater, MD and her great-grandchildren, Brendon Agee, Sophie Collett and Olivia and Caleb Jamerson. Friends are invited to celebrate Margaret’s life at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Friday, February 9 from 12 Noon until her funeral service begins at 1pm. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD. Condolences may be made online by visiting the link on this page.
