Obituary for James Thomas Edwards Jr.

James Thomas  Edwards Jr.
James T. "Jimbo" Edwards Jr., 48, of Hedgesville, WV, and previously of Mayo, MD for 18 years, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 16, 2018, from a vehicle accident.
Born to Sharon A. Edwards and the late James T. Edwards Sr. in Silver Spring, MD, he was a 1988 graduate of Wheaton High School. James was employed at Quad Graphics in Martinsburg, WV as a roll truck driver. While living in Maryland, he owned Edgewater Truck Center and was a member of the Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
James enjoyed football, NASCAR, old trucks and cars, food, and spending time with family and numerous friends. He was known for his infectious smile and one of a kind personality.
James is survived by his mother; two Godchildren, Brittany N. Ray of Clear Springs, MD and Nicholas "Doodle" Tyler of Frederick, MD. He is also survived by his aunts, many cousins, and countless friends.
Friends are invited to celebrate James’ life on Friday, March 23 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD.
