Condolence: Much of the time I worked in Demographic Programs at the Census Bureau from 1983 to 1995, Art was working on his PhD program, all while holding down a responsible full-time job. He finished the dissertation and received the degree. Art is one of the few people in my experience who successfully pulled this off. The strain on free time and time with family must have been strong at times, but no evidence of strain at work was evident. I admired this strong drive and work effort and still do. Rest in Peace, colleague Art.

Condolence: I am very sad to hear this news. Condolences to the Cresce family. Art was one of the first people I met when I joined the Census family in 1988. I had the pleasure of working for Art. I was only 19 years old and Art mentored me and helped me grow as a person and as an employee. His love of God shined through in all of his actions. I was a handful and Art was patient and kind. I have had the upmost respect for Art throughout my career and enjoyed catching up with him in the hallways prior to his retirement.

Condolence: Art touched many lives at the Census Bureau. I am glad to be among them, getting to work with him a bit in his role as a respected demographer and manager, but much more though his contributions in Toastmasters. He was a friend, inspiration, and mentor to so many of us over the years. Treasure my memories of Art

Condolence: Betsy and family,
Art touched the lives of so many here at the Census and in Toastmasters. He was truly a joy to work with and continuously imparted wisdom on numerous occasions as my mentor. A great family man and one that truly loved the Lord. May you find peace in knowing that you will one day be reunited in Heaven.

Condolence: Taken from us way too soon - I've known Art from the first day I joined Toastmasters 7 years ago. A great mentor and teacher, with seemingly endless energy. Seriously, I never figured out how he did it all. A great loss for us all. The world has been diminished. May his name and memory forever be for a blessing.

Condolence: I am sorry to hear of Art's passing. I met Art through Toastmasters at the Census Bureau and he was always there to help and happily "lift many others" to success. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and colleagues. He will be missed.

Condolence: I wish to express my sincere condolences for the death of your dear Mr. Cresce.  The God of heavens shares your loss.  He provides the wonderful hope of the resurrection (John 5:28-29; Hosea 13:14).  He also promises, at Psalm 37: 11, 29, 39, peaceful life forever on a perfect earth.  Jesus taught us to pray for that marvelous time at Matthew 6:9-10.  May the peace of God be with all of you.
